About Aria
Aria Satine Sage was born to her overbearing parents in the year of 1986 in the town of Hoboken, New Jersey. Aria was an only child, making her the victim of any sort of abuse her parents laid out, be it physical or mental. Things were tight financially while she was growing up. It wasn’t until her father successfully opened a store early in her youth that things started to turn for the better, at least for their bank account. This wouldn’t last long due to Aria’s father’s developing gambling addiction that would spiral out of control.
Aria juggled work and school during her teenage years, doing what she could to help her family through their deficit, and also trying to keep her grades up. Oddly enough, her parents put pressure on her and her education, claiming it was most important, yet they would turn around and add more pressure on her to do her duty to help out her family. She felt deeply obligated to do both.
While her father’s alcoholism raged on, Aria found herself landing scholarships and grants to attend Princeton for journalism. She was elated that her hard work and determination would bring her so far. She was also excited to have her own freedom to branch out in the world. Or so she thought. She eagerly began planning her college career, the places she would go, the luxuries she would give herself. Everything was soon shot down when her parents decided to follow her to Princeton. She turned from elated to enraged. She flat out refused to live with them. She wanted her college experience, and this became another argument.
The family moved, despite Aria’s negations and she settled into her dorm, vowing to spend as little of time possible with her parents. Her roommate was seemingly nice and her classes were easily adaptable.
The years flew by and Aria was soon on her final semester of college. Aria had changed significantly. Though her parents were merely fifteen minutes away, Aria made it an art to avoid them, which she excelled at. She began partying heavily, falling easily into the crowd of wrong people. It reflected on her grades, which of course, her parents obtained. They didn’t know what to do. All other ways they approached her about the problem were not working. They felt a soul searching journey would benefit her deeply. Aria loved the idea of this. She loved the idea of putting space and miles between her and her parents. The idea of freedom.
Aria was soon on a plane bound to England to begin her trip across Europe. Her ways had not left her entirely. She found herself in pubs, mingling with the foreign men, though in this case, she was the foreigner. She bounced from destination to destination, with great experiences… excluding Austria.
She finally made her way to Poland. After a disgruntled phone call to her parents, Aria sought after anything to make her bad mood go away. She found herself surrounded by a group of boys that barely spoke English. She found this alright and left to a party with them. After many drinks delivered by the boys, she blacked out for days with no knowledge of what had happened. Alone and frightened in the desolate woods, Aria found refuge in an abandoned hut as a chorus of howls echoed through the trees. She checked herself over for her items, but the boys, unbeknown to her that were werewolves, had taken everything she owned.
When the next day broke, she set out again to try to find her way out. The day quickly turned to night and she found herself lost again. This night, she was preyed on by a newborn vampire that attacked and fed from her, when out of the shadows stepped another vampire. Luk. He, too, tasted her, and soon after, escorted her back to his enormous home.
Luk kept Aria around as his pet, making her earn her stay. He told her he would decide when he would allow her to leave. He tempted her through many things and tortured her in various ways. The tension and angst between the two was thick and palpable. He tested her, though she didn’t know why. He tormented her night after night through advances that would be cut short. He even went as far as glamouring her, though he revoked it soon after.
Aria’s petdom with Luk soon turned to a blossoming romance. After intentions were made clear and the intimacy picked up, Luk made it a habit to spoil Aria and shower her with gifts and anything she could ever want. Aria soon grew to trust him completely, allowing herself to admit her love for him, which he felt the same of her.
Some time passed and Aria’s parents grew worried that their daughter had not returned from her trip. They hired a private detective to search for her and bring her back. He ended up hunting her down to Luk’s palace, finding his way in take her. Luk was alert and ready, taking him down with the help of his first born, Mat. It was not long after that Aria requested to become vampire, making the investigator her first meal and kill.
Aria became Luk’s vampire bride and newborn, pledging an eternity together. It was not long after that Luk announced his position as the vampire king of Poland, making Aria the queen. They plan to make it official, as Luk proposed to Aria, and they are now engaged to be married.
